New Release: Poster #2 – America’s Handcrafted Cars

Hi Gang…

And we’re off!  On the heels of releasing our first poster of America’s Handcrafted Cars last week.  Today, Dan Palatnik and I are releasing our second poster of these cool, handbuilt cars that appeared across America in the early postwar years (click here to view the release of our first poster and learn more).

Many of you will recognize the cars in our poster as some that we’ve restored or others in our group restored.  There are also 1 or 2 cars on the poster that are in restoration so what a great way this will be to honor the completed car with a poster showing it.  Fun for all!

Our second poster includes:

  • 1948 Kurtis-Omohundro Comet
  • 1952 Voodoo Gardner
  • 1951 Glasspar G2
  • 1952 Maverick Sportster
  • 1952 Manta Ray
  • 1954 Victress S4
  • 1955 Siebler Special

There’s additional detail under each car in the poster including the body material, the wheelbase and production number information.  You can check out our new poster now available below.  The printed size is approximately 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall.  That’ll cover a lot of space on your wall gang 🙂

Summary:

Dan Palatnik and I are hard at work bringing more artwork and renderings of these special cars to all of you.  And within these posters, you can enjoy – perhaps for the first time – the innovation in design and the tenacity it took to build the creators of these brought to bear – several cars once.  Most of what we are used to seeing is one handcrafted car at a show or a lone article in a magazine.  We’re lining them up and showing you them in multitude – something that has never been done before with artwork of these cars.

I bet many of your car enthusiast friends can’t name most or all of the Handcrafted American sports cars on this poster – and that’s what makes the release of this poster even more fun.  Feel free to share this poster digitally (or via this story too) with anyone or any group you wish.  They can save / download the digital poster onto their computer with ease.  Keep in mind that this will be the first time that many people have seen or heard of these handcrafted sports cars and sports customs so you can direct them to our website if they want to learn more.

If you want a printed version of the poster (approximately 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall), click on the following link and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.  Here’s the link:

We have more work in development and will be sharing new posters and artwork with you over the coming weeks.  So if you like to display handcrafted car art – something that has rarely been available for our favorite types of cars – things are about to change.  Keep your eyes open for our next release soon 🙂

Hope you enjoyed the story, and remember…

The adventure continues here at Undiscovered Classics.
