Description

The Victress S4 came out in 1954 and was designed to be built on an unmodified chassis of the era.  The typical wheelbase of sports cars at the time were either 94 inches or around 100 inches.  The Victress S4 was designed to fit a variety available chassis at the time all with a wheelbase of around 114” – give or take a few inches.

The S4 first appeared in the 1954 Petersen Motorama with space age head rests installed.  Designed by Hugh Jorgensen, an Art Center “automobile design” student in Los Angeles, California, it was inspired by the 1950s Aston Martin DB5.

This  Car

We acquired this car from its owner in Illinois many years ago.  It was built on a Ford chassis with Oldsmobile power.  This S4 needs a full restoration and is being sold “as-is.”
