Autocar featured the Kurtis-Omohundro Comet in their magazine during late spring in 1949 making it one of the first coachbuilt American sports cars to be shown to the European audience. Also included below is a short “letters to the editor” post in the same issue lamenting the fact that America didn’t have sports cars and needed to fill this gap quickly.
