Phase 4: Drivetrain Repair and Restoration
Here the chassis is finished and made running in preparation to mate body to chassis
Tasks
- New engine or rebuild engine
- New transmission or rebuild transmission
- Create engine/transmission mounting system or replace engine/trans mounts
- New brake and brake lines installed
- Radiator/cooling system addressed including hoses and electric fan (recommended)
- Electrical loom installed including headlights, high-beam, taillights, brake lights, engine power, and power to dashboard
- Dash gauges installed and tested
- Exhaust pipes and mufflers custom fit
