Did  You  Know...

One of the earliest known race cars to use a fiberglass body was Dick Morgensens Glasspar G2 Special. This car used a modified 1939 Ford frame with Cadillac engine, and also was driven during the week for transportation around Phoenix, Arizona. Morgensens next race car did not fare as well and crashed. The remains of this car became the beginnings of the famous race car known as Old Yellar built and raced by Max Balchowski.
